Nikolay Vasilyev

Head of Medical Affairs, Structural Heart

Nikolay Vasilyev, MD, is currently the Head of Medical Affairs for Structural Heart at Johnson & Johnson. An experienced physician-scientist and innovator, Nikolay has developed and translated advanced healthcare solutions, particularly in the realm of implantable cardiovascular devices and minimally invasive surgical instruments. Previously, Nikolay served as an instructor and assistant professor at Harvard Medical School, alongside roles at Pfizer, Children's Hospital Boston, and as a clinical fellow at the A.N. Bakoulev Center for Cardiovascular Surgery. As a co-founder and board director of Nido Surgical, Nikolay demonstrated a commitment to entrepreneurial endeavors within the medical device industry. Nikolay earned an MD from First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov and furthered their education at institutions such as King's College London and Tufts University School of Medicine.
