Ryan McBride serves as the Vice President of Global Portfolio Communications at Johnson & Johnson since February 2022, leading communications across Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, and Business Development for the Innovative Medicine division. Prior to this role, Ryan was the VP and Global Head of R&D Communications at the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson and held several senior communication positions at Novartis, including VP of Communications & Engagement for Global Drug Development. Ryan also has experience in media relations and executive communications from previous roles at Novartis R&D and has contributed to the life sciences sector through editorial positions at FierceMarkets and Xconomy. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Rhode Island, graduating cum laude.
