Sonal Patel, PhD, is currently the Vice President of Oncology Scientific Innovation at the Johnson & Johnson Innovation Centre in London, where they focus on external innovation in Janssen Oncology R&D. Previously, they served in various leadership roles at GlaxoSmithKline, Prosidion Ltd, Piramed Pharma, and Roche, contributing significantly to oncology and pharmacology research. Sonal led key projects in drug discovery and biomarker development during their tenure at multiple pharmaceutical companies, including the rapid progression of oncology programs in collaboration with major partners. They completed their education at the Institute of Cancer Therapeutics at the University of Bradford.
