Stephen Rivera

Stephen Rivera is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in accounting and finance. Currently serving as the Vice President of Global Technical Accounting Advisory Services & Policy at Johnson & Johnson since April 2005, Stephen is responsible for leading accounting policy development, implementation, and providing guidance to global finance teams on technical accounting and reporting issues. In this role, Stephen also acts as the chair and lead representative on various external industry organizations, influencing accounting standards and public company reporting requirements. Prior to this position, Stephen was the Director of Financial Legal Accounting at Aventis Pharmaceuticals from June 2000 to June 2004. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. John's University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
