Trey Rees

Trey Rees has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Assistant General Counsel for MedTech Business Development at Johnson & Johnson since February 2019, following a role as Senior Counsel. Prior to this, Trey was Director of Legal at TIBCO Software from November 2011 to January 2019 and worked as Legal Counsel at VIZ Media from October 2009 to November 2011, where responsibilities included managing the legal department and providing comprehensive legal advice on various corporate matters. Earlier in the career, Trey was an Attorney at O'Melveny & Myers LLP, specializing in intellectual property agreements and M&A due diligence. Trey’s foundational experience includes serving as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force, managing programs and operations in the Precision Strike Systems Program Office and the 20th Space Surveillance Squadron. Trey Rees holds a JD from American University Washington College of Law, an MS in International Relations from Troy University, and a BS in Mathematics from Duke University.
