Damien Sotty

Damien Sotty serves as the Global Technology Centres Director at Johnson Matthey since May 2019, overseeing eight technology centres across multiple countries within the "Clean air" sector and managing a team of approximately 400 professionals. Previously, Damien held several key positions at Chery Motors, including Director of Technology for the Clean air Asia Pacific and Engineering Director for Powertrain, Chassis, and Cooling, where responsibilities encompassed team recruitment, structure optimization, and strategic product planning. Prior experience includes leading Diesel and Natural Gas projects at Ricardo Asia in China, and various engineering roles at PSA Peugeot Citroën, focusing on engine calibration and system integration. Academic credentials include an MBA from INSEAD, a master's degree in powertrain engineering from IFP School, and a master's in mechanical engineering from ECAM LaSalle.
