Rebecca Gibson

Rebecca Gibson is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in process engineering. Currently serving as a Process Engineering Team Leader and previously as a Senior Process Engineer and Reaction Process Safety Engineer at Johnson Matthey since October 2021, Rebecca has leveraged expertise in industrial process optimization. During an Engineering Doctorate program at the University of Birmingham from October 2017 to October 2021, Rebecca focused on the thermal processing of solids, particularly in modeling drying and calcination procedures. Earlier experiences at Johnson Matthey include internships in water treatment technologies and emissions control. Rebecca holds an Engineering Doctorate in Formulation Engineering from the University of Birmingham and a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
