Dan Lauchner began their work experience in 1984 as a Designer at Visteon Connersville, IN. From 1987 to 2001, they worked at Trimble Navigation as a Mechanical Engineer. Dan then moved to Atlantic Inertial Systems in 2001, where they continued their role as a Mechanical Engineer until 2006. During this time, they also worked at BAE Systems as a Mechanical Engineer from 2001 to 2006. Following this, Lauchner worked at YSI, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer from 2006 to 2017. Currently, they are employed at Johnson Medtech as a Product Development Engineer.
Dan Lauchner earned their A.A.S. degree in Tool Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute, where they studied from 1980 to 1982. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Wright State University, where they attended between 1993 and 2001.
