Cameron Donaldson

Cameron Donaldson, EIT, is a Highway Design Engineer at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson since July 2021. Prior experience includes a Field Engineer Co-op position in the Marine Division at Corman Kokosing Construction Company, where tasks involved project meetings, RFIs, site inspections, and scheduling for a pier fender replacement project. Cameron's research experience at Virginia Tech Coastal & Marine Geotechnics Laboratory focused on the correlation between acoustic measurements and geotechnical properties, utilizing Biot’s Poroelastic Theory on sonar data. Additionally, experience includes roles as an Assistant within the Virginia Tech Faculty Senate, Small Business Intern and Jet Ski Tour Guide at Nor'Banks Sailing and Watersports, and an intern with the University of Richmond's Department of Environmental Science. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, earned in 2021, with honors.
