Douglas Simmons

Douglas Simmons is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles. Since January 2016, Douglas has served as Vice President at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson. Prior to this, Douglas held the position of Deputy Administrator/Chief Engineer for Planning, Engineering Real Estate and Environment at the Maryland State Highway Administration from 2003 to December 2015. Educationally, Douglas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Baltimore, complemented by participation in Leadership Maryland.
