Robert R. Kirkpatrick, Jr. PE has extensive experience in the nuclear engineering field, currently serving as a Project Engineer at the Tennessee Valley Authority since January 2016, where significant roles include Site Engineering Manager for the successful Watts Bar Unit 2 Steam Generator Replacement Project, completed in Spring 2022. Since July 2016, Robert has also been the Assistant Engineering Director at Johnson Service Group, Inc. and previously held positions such as Senior Project Manager at BHI Energy and General Manager at Nuclear Energy Engineering, LLC, providing consulting services focused on regulatory compliance. Robert's career with the Tennessee Valley Authority spans several roles, including Manager of Design Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of various engineering disciplines and design authority for nuclear plant operations. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University and an Associate's degree in Pre-Engineering from Volunteer State Community College.
