He advises on joint ventures, the acquisition and disposal of mining and oil and gas assets, as well as unregulated M&A in the infrastructure and corporate sectors. He also has substantial experience in resources/energy project and infrastructure development, including roads and rail, and social infrastructure PPPs.
Martin previously spent nearly three years working with a global law firm in London, where he was mostly involved in upstream oil and gas and mining M&A, and development projects in Africa and Europe, as well as gas sales and transportation agreements. Martin's extensive experience and outstanding skill set are complemented by his "common sense with a profound knowledge of the resource industries" – Chambers Global.

Martin is currently the National President of the Australian Mining and Petroleum Law Association, AMPLA.
