Nick Gregg

Nick Gregg is currently a Independent Non-Executive Director at Johnsons Services. Nick has previously worked as Managing Director, Local Government at Amey from February 2011 to May 2016. In this role, they led the largest division with £1Billion turnover and 10,000 employees at over 200 locations, providing Highways, Environmental and Waste, and FM Services to the Local Government Sector.

During their time at Amey, Nick developed a 5 Year Strategy for the business with a core focus on highways and waste and expanding service coverage to include social housing. Nick also delivered a step change in service delivery and cost effectiveness by envisioning a bespoke technology platform to monitor real-time resource and workforce utilization. As an external face of Amey, they led relationships with customers and senior local government representatives and invigorated our work winning and bid governance; generating a success rate of over 50%. Nick was also a member/Chair of several Joint Venture (JV) Boards which were established between both supply chain and customers, and were established to meet the governance and scrutiny requirements of local and national government for capital and operational projects.

Nick Gregg started their educational career by completing an HNC in Business Studies with Marketing Specialism at Manchester School. Nick then went on to complete a HNC in Business Studies with Marketing at The Manchester Metropolitan University. After that, they completed their studies at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
