Dale Hommerding

Dale Hommerding has over 20 years of work experience. In 2023, they began working as a Market Data Analyst for Jordan & Jordan, a Veteran-owned financial technology company that provides Market Data solutions throughout the financial services industry. In this role, Dale leveraged their background in project management, strategic planning, risk management and compliance to enhance client engagements. Dale also supported Jordan & Jordan's recent initiative, Veterans Capital Markets Career Forum (VCMCF). In 2022, Dale held a Financial Representative Intern position at Northwestern Mutual. From 2018 to 2023, Dale worked as an Instructor in the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy at West Point. In this role, they instructed and mentored ~100 cadets annually in Economics, American Politics, and American Foreign Policy. Dale also led a planning team that transformed West Point's response to COVID-19 by assessing risks, mitigating losses, and maximizing opportunities. Additionally, Dale managed West Point's nationally ranked Policy Debate Team consisting of 20 cadets on and a $50K annual budget. From 1998 to 2018, Dale served in the US Army in various roles, including Senior Aviation Advisor, Army Officer, Chief of Operations, Aviation Officer, Operations Officer, Strategic Planner, Political-Military Planner, Assistant Operations Officer, Company Commander, Executive Officer, and Platoon Leader.

Dale Hommerding obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point between 1998 and 2002. Dale then earned a Master of Policy Management in Public Policy from Georgetown University between 2010 and 2011. In 2003, they obtained their Commercial Pilot (CP) certification from the Federal Aviation Administration. In 2020, they obtained a Master Teacher Program certification from the United States Military Academy at West Point. In 2019, they obtained a USA Hockey Coaching Education Program - Level 4 certification from USA Hockey. In 2022, they obtained a Series 63 - Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination certification from FINRA, a Series 7 - General Securities Representative Examination certification from FINRA, a Security Industry Essentials Exam certification from FINRA, an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and an Insurance Producer: Life, Accident and Health certification from the State of Colorado. In 2021, they obtained a Top Secret/SCI certification from the United States Department of Defense.
