Alaa Awad

Alaa Awad has been working in software engineering since 2018. In 2018, they worked at Code95 as a Software Engineer, where they designed a NoSQL database and implemented Restful APIs for a messenger chat bot. In 2019, they worked at Baianat as a Software Engineer, where they worked with the product and design teams to discuss requirements and implemented GraphQL APIs and designed a NoSQL database for a mobile app. In 2020, they worked at Coral Technology as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, where they worked on a health insurance system, contributed to an open-source package, and reduced the time to render bundle's list in a legacy application by 90%. Currently, they are working at join.com as a Senior Software Engineer.

Alaa Awad obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Suez Canal University between 2015 and 2018. In May 2020, they completed the AWS Fundamentals Specialization from Coursera. Alaa then obtained the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2021.
