Carlos Langa

Carlos Langa has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Carlos started their career as an Associate Attorney at Langa & Asociados, where they led negotiations and managed the corporate and operational structure of the firm. Carlos then worked as a Staff Attorney at the Court of Appeals and as a Foreclosure Prevention Associate at NOAH (Neighborhood of Affordable Housing). After that, they served as a Legal Associate at APC Law and as a Legal Manager at Compass Working Capital. In these roles, they drafted and negotiated agreements, ensured compliance with regulations, and provided legal support to senior management.

In 2019, Carlos joined Arco Homes as the Head of Legal & Compliance. Here, they led transaction counsel for all contracts, performed zoning reviews, and advised owners on business opportunities and conflict resolution.

In 2022, Carlos took on the role of Head of Legal & Compliance at Pana, where they worked with outside counsel to draft and negotiate various agreements and oversaw compliance of marketing deliverables.

Additionally, Carlos became the Chief Operating Officer at Advire in 2022, where they are responsible for overseeing operations.

Throughout their career, Carlos has demonstrated strong legal and compliance skills, negotiation expertise, and the ability to manage complex agreements.

Carlos Langa completed their education at various institutions in the legal and financial fields. Carlos obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree with a specialization in Banking & Finance from the Boston University School of Law, where they studied from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana, where they were enrolled from 2008 to 2012.

In addition to their academic degrees, Carlos has also obtained several certifications to further enhance their professional qualifications. Carlos received a Regulatory Compliance Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania in August 2020. In May 2017, they became an Accredited Financial Counselor® by completing the program offered by AFCPE® (Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education®). Moreover, Carlos achieved the status of NYS Qualified Attorney in January 2015, certified by the New York State Unified Court System. Lastly, they became a Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in November 2022.
