Arun Mallikarjunan began their career in 2002 as a Software Engineer at GAVS. In 2004, they became a Technical Lead at Next Generation Broadband, where they led an engineering team of six to develop a customized data provisioning application for a major client. In 2011, they joined AOL as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2013, they became a Strategy Consultant at Kikspot LLC, where they helped design user surveys and mock screens to get user feedback which validated the core idea for the product. In 2014, they participated in the Customer Development and refinement process for an idea at the National Science Foundation, DC I-Corps. Arun also became a Tech Evangelist at Amtrak, where they wrote the business case for enterprise wide Agile engagement. In 2017, Arun became Co-Founder and CEO of Symbiosis LLC, which empowers physicians and healthcare professionals to start, manage, and scale their own private practices.
Arun Mallikarjunan has completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from the University of Madras from 1996 to 2000. Arun then went on to obtain a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad from 2000 to 2002. During this same time period, they also completed a Masters in Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering from the International Institute of Information Technology. In addition, they obtained a PGDIT from the International Institute of Information Technology in 2001. Lastly, they completed their High School from P.S. Senior Secondary School in 1996. Arun then went on to obtain an MBA in Management from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business from 2011 to 2013.
