Alexander Johnson's work experience begins in 2016, where they worked as a Design Apprentice at Ernie Yim Design & Construction Ltd. In 2017, they joined Puma Capital, LLC as a Research Analyst & Junior Trader, where they collaborated with the head of Corporate Equity Solutions and software engineers to launch the PumaSET investment banking website and performed analysis, forecasting, and risk assessment of U.S. distressed equities and special situation opportunities. Alexander also utilized Bloomberg Terminal to research companies and create equity screens for head traders. Alexander used OMS systems Fidessa and TRAFIX to route client orders to the market and allocate executed trades while alerting and relaying market trading activity to head traders. In 2019, Johnson worked as a Data Analyst at MediaMath and later assumed the role of Marketing Engineer for the same company. Alexander joined Macy's in 2020, where they worked as a Product Analytics & Experimentation specialist in the Ecommerce department until 2021. From 2021 to 2022, Johnson held two roles at Peloton Interactive: Data Scientist, Ecommerce, and Product Analyst, Ecommerce. In 2023, they served as a Volunteer at Lucky Dog Animal Rescue and as a Product Analytics professional at Grove Collaborative.

Alexander Johnson completed their high school education at Scarsdale High School. Alexander then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Durham University from 2014 to 2017. Following that, they attended Columbia University from 2018 to 2019, obtaining a Fullstack Software Engineering Certification in Web Development. In 2020, they enrolled at Tufts University, where they are currently pursuing a Master of Computer Science (MSCS) degree in the field of Computer Science. Additionally, Alexander has obtained several certifications, including Programmatic 101 Certification and Terminal One DSP Certification from MediaMath in May 2019, a Fullstack Software Engineering Certification (Web Development) from Columbia University in December 2018, and Series 63 and Series 7 certifications from FINRA in January and December 2018, respectively.
