Isaac Wilder

Isaac Wilder has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and technology. Their most recent position was as a Platform Engineer at Propel, Inc, where they started in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Recurser at Recurse Center from July 2022 to September 2022.

From 2020 to 2022, Isaac served as the Principal Site Reliability Engineer at Taktile. In this role, they led Taktile's platform team and was responsible for building a high-assurance MLOps platform. Isaac also worked as a Consultant at Taktile from June 2020 to August 2020.

Isaac was responsible for engineering systems and networks to support large-scale information retrieval. Isaac also worked as a Systems Architect at Edge Up Sports from May 2015 to January 2016, where they led the engineering of a stereo vision acquisition stack.

Isaac's work experience also includes being the CEO and Chief Engineer at Nodal Industries from August 2014 to May 2015. Isaac developed an embedded security platform for domestic networks and IoT devices.

Their earliest work experience was as the Executive Director at The Free Network Foundation from May 2011 to August 2014. During this time, they built a wireless mesh and overlay network stack and transformed it into a city-wide community ISP.

Isaac Wilder attended Grinnell College from 2009 to 2011, where they studied Computer Science & Philosophy. Prior to that, they attended The Hotchkiss School from 2006 to 2008, although the field of study or degree obtained during this time is unknown. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications such as the CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in March 2021 and the Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect from Google in May 2021.
