VP, Operations at Sherpa

Nik R. has over 10 years of work experience in a variety of roles. Nik began their career in 2012 as a Special Events Coordinator for the City of Port Moody. In 2019, they held three positions simultaneously: On-Campus Program Coordinator for Tamwood International College Ltd., Managing Director for The AEIPATHY Creative Company Inc., and Recreation Leader - Attendant for the City of New Westminster. In 2020, they worked as a Support Advisor for Shopify. In 2021, they began working for Fast as a Customer Success Operations Manager and Customer Success Support & Operations Specialist. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Sherpa as the Director of Business Operations and Director of Information Technology, where they worked closely on optimizing and driving employee onboarding, asset management and finding new solutions to emerging internal trends. Nik was also responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining new IT systems and policies related to information security, SOC compliance, procurement and access management. During their time at Fast, they participated in the planning, QA, solutioning and launch of multiple multi-million dollar business deals and championed and participated in xfn-team projects.

Nik R. completed a Recreation Leadership Diploma from Langara College between 2018 and 2020. Nik has also obtained several certifications, including Foundational Support from Zendesk in 2021, Jamf Certified Associate from Jamf in 2021, Pool Operators Level 1 from the Recreation Facilities Association of British Columbia in 2018, Principles of Healthy Childhood Development - HIGH FIVE from Parks and Recreation Ontario in 2016, Okta Certified Professional from Okta in 2022, and Standard First Aid with CPR-C from the Lifesaving Society BC & Yukon Branch in 2018.
