Humberto J. Restrepo

Humberto J. Restrepo has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as a Job Steward at Local Union # 3 IBEW in 1999. Humberto J. then moved on to Fred Geller Electrical Company in 1993, where they were a Foreman and Sub-Foreman. In 2009, they began working at the Joint Industry Board of the Electrical Industry as a Political Affairs Liaison. In 2017, they were promoted to Executive Director and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at the same company.

Humberto J. Restrepo began their education journey in 1986 when they earned their Journeyman Wireman degree from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union #3 in the field of Electrical. In 2011, they went on to earn their MPS from Cornell University in Industrial Labor Relations. Humberto J. then completed their education in 2019 by earning a BA from SUNY Empire State College in Labor Studies.
