Andrew Crabb

Andrew Crabb is an experienced professional in military operations and special operations research. Currently serving as an Applied Researcher at Joint Special Operations University since June 2019, Crabb focuses on developing applications for special operations and military enterprises. Prior roles include Course Director for the Special Operations Planning Course at Jacobs and Operations Analyst at USSOCOM, where Crabb facilitated integration between US Marine Corps and special operations forces. With significant experience in planning and overseeing operations within the CENTCOM area, Crabb has held various leadership positions, including AC/S, G-3 Operations Officer and CO of MARCENT HQ Group. Crabb also served as a Senior Advisor to the Khalifa Bin Zayed II Brigade of the UAE Presidential Guard. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Latin American Security Affairs from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from The Citadel.

USSOCOM's "Think-Do Tank" Center for Special Operations Thinking. WE SHARPEN THE EDGE OF SOF’S ADVANTAGE: THE NEXT-GENERATION SOF PROFESSIONAL. The Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) provides education to Special Operations Forces (SOF) and to people who enable the SOF mission in a joint environment. In addition to the regular courses taught at MacDill Air Force Base (AFB), JSOU routinely conducts both regular and tailored off-station activities for SOF units worldwide by means of remote or on-site instruction, DL courses, and via video tele-instruction (VTI). Vision USSOCOM's "Think-Do Tank" - Center for Special Operations Thinking. Mission JSOU prepares SOF professionals to address strategic and operational challenges, arming them with the ability to think through problems with knowledge, insight, and foresight.
