Gordy Horvath has extensive experience in program coordination, curriculum development, and instructional roles. Currently serving as a Senior Program Coordinator at Joint Special Operations University since April 2024, Gordy held positions including Lead Instructor and Curriculum Developer at ASRC Federal and FFG, and Vice President at FAIRCHILD FISK GIROUX LLC, where curriculum development was a key focus. Additionally, Gordy owned and operated Gordy’s Bike Garage and worked as a Contract Recruiter at Totalis Consulting Group, Inc., while also gaining military experience with USASOC. Educational qualifications include attendance at Park University and Troy University, with foundational education from Rochester High School.

USSOCOM's "Think-Do Tank" Center for Special Operations Thinking. WE SHARPEN THE EDGE OF SOF’S ADVANTAGE: THE NEXT-GENERATION SOF PROFESSIONAL. The Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) provides education to Special Operations Forces (SOF) and to people who enable the SOF mission in a joint environment. In addition to the regular courses taught at MacDill Air Force Base (AFB), JSOU routinely conducts both regular and tailored off-station activities for SOF units worldwide by means of remote or on-site instruction, DL courses, and via video tele-instruction (VTI). Mission JSOU prepares SOF professionals to address strategic and operational challenges, arming them with the ability to think through problems with knowledge, insight, and foresight.
