Jaime Macias, Ed.D., currently serves as the Vice Provost of Strategic Operations at the Joint Special Operations University and holds an adjunct faculty position at Southeastern University. With extensive experience in strategic planning and operations, Jaime has previously worked as a Senior Program Analyst at Jacobs, where integration of US Marine Corps and Special Operations Forces was key. Other notable roles include serving as a strategy planner at the Special Applications Group and Chief of Plans and Strategy for the United States Marine Corps Forces Central Command, where Jaime received the highest military award for meritorious service. Jaime Macias has also instructed graduate-level courses on critical thinking and decision-making and led a communications squadron recognized as the top unit in its category. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Southeastern University and multiple master's degrees from Marine Corps University and Boston University.

USSOCOM's "Think-Do Tank" Center for Special Operations Thinking. WE SHARPEN THE EDGE OF SOF’S ADVANTAGE: THE NEXT-GENERATION SOF PROFESSIONAL. The Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) provides education to Special Operations Forces (SOF) and to people who enable the SOF mission in a joint environment. In addition to the regular courses taught at MacDill Air Force Base (AFB), JSOU routinely conducts both regular and tailored off-station activities for SOF units worldwide by means of remote or on-site instruction, DL courses, and via video tele-instruction (VTI). Mission JSOU prepares SOF professionals to address strategic and operational challenges, arming them with the ability to think through problems with knowledge, insight, and foresight.
