Dr. Kris Birkeland has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Dr. Kris served as the President of Joint Ventures LLC, a Regional Developer for The Joint, where they focused on optimizing patient-centered outcomes and evidence-based principles. Dr. Kris also held the position of President at Modern Ventures LLC, a Regional Developer for Modern Acupuncture, where they emphasized wellness and the prevention of pain and disorders through revolutionary acupuncture delivery. Prior to these roles, Dr. Birkeland was the Owner of Rise | Sports and Fitness, a state-of-the-art facility that provided comprehensive training and care for athletes. Dr. Kris also worked as a Doctor of Chiropractic at Rise | Sports and Fitness, where they aided in the continuous improvement and development of athletes in the community.
Dr. Kris Birkeland earned a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in Sports Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, Calif. from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in History at Arizona State University from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, Dr. Birkeland obtained certifications as a RockDoc from ROCKTAPE in January 2011 and as a Certified KinesioTaping Practitioner from the Kinesio Taping Association in September 2008.
