Miguel began their career as a Practicante at Leo Burnett in 2012, where they gained experience in account management and media coordination. Currently, Miguel is working at JOKR as a Global Head of JOKR Media, overseeing media operations and strategies on a global scale. Prior to this role, they served as a Sr Onsite & JOKR Media Manager and Sr Onsite Manager for North LATAM at JOKR.

Miguel Herrán Tovar has pursued education in various fields throughout their academic career. From 2006 to 2012, they attended Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where they earned a degree in Comunicador social y publicista, specializing in relaciones públicas, publicidad, mercadeo y comunicación aplicadas.
In 2015, Herrán Tovar enrolled in LCI BOGOTÁ and completed a Diplomatura in marketing digital. Subsequently, in 2016, they joined Esden Business School, where they pursued a degree in Estudios Superiores en Ecommerce, focusing on comercio electrónico.
