Ronald started their career as an intern in commercial finance at GE Plastics. Ronald then spent seven years at GE Capital, where they led the finance team as the Regional Controller. In this role, they were responsible for capital allocation, business planning, investor relations, and compliance with financial reporting and fiscal requirements.

In 2014, Ronald joined Linio Group as the Group CFO. Ronald led the Regional Finance team of 11 direct reports, including 6 country CFOs. Ronald was responsible for capital allocation/business plan, investor relations including board preparation and general compliance with financial reporting/fiscal requirements. Ronald also drove the group's finance strategy of automation, centralization and business partnering with projects focusing on ERP interfaces, shared service centers for Accounting (in Colombia) and Treasury (in Mexico), and improved reporting capabilities (BI). In 2018, they successfully led the one-year deal process from start to finish resulting in the sale of Linio to SACI Falabella.

Most recently, Ronald was the CFO OYO LATAM from May 2019 to March 2021.

Ronald has a degree in Economics from Universidad del Rosario and an MBA from IE Business School.

Ronald V. has a Masters of Science in Accounting and Control from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Economics from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.

Ronald V. reports to Ralf Wenzel, CEO & Co-Founder. They are on a team with Erick Rabin - General Counsel, Konstantin Sorger - Co-Founder & Chief Marketing and Data Officer, and Benjamin Bauer - Chief Commercial Officer & Co-Founder.
