Barry Barrientos

Barry Barrientos serves as the Director of Corporate Communication at Jollibee Foods Corporation since August 2019 and has been a Lecturer at the University of the Philippines since June 2001, developing syllabi and teaching courses in various communication subjects. Barry is a multi-year recipient of The Outstanding Teacher award and has achieved recognition as a three-time champion coach for UP Manila teams in the National Student Grand Prix by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines. Prior to current roles, Barry worked at Unilab, Inc. from June 2004 to August 2019, where responsibilities included leading digital content and brand development, and contributing to award-winning PR initiatives. Barry's career began as a Public Relations Specialist at the Development Bank of the Philippines and a Management Trainee at the Department of Foreign Affairs. Education includes a Master of Arts in Communication from Ateneo de Manila University and a cum laude Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from the University of the Philippines.
