Roland Gersch

Roland Gersch has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Roland is currently the Geschäftsführender Gesellschafter at Roland Gersch UG (haftungsbeschränkt) since May 2019. In 2020, they joined JOLT ENERGY GROUP as the VP Technology, where they work on software and hardware challenges related to fast-charging mobile chargers. Prior to that, Roland served as the Director of R&D at Alelion Energy Systems AB from March 2018 to April 2019. Roland also held the position of CTO at Caterva GmbH from October 2013 to February 2018. Roland worked as a Venture Manager at Siemens AG / Siemens Technology Accelerator GmbH from October 2011 to September 2013. Roland started their career at Siemens AG / Siemens Management Consulting, where they served as a Senior Consultant from May 2009 to September 2011 and as a Consultant from October 2007 to April 2009. Roland's early professional experience includes working as a Doctoral Student at the Max Planck Society from September 2004 to September 2007.

Roland Gersch first pursued their education at the University of Cologne from 1999 to 2004. During this time, they obtained a Diplom (Master of Science) degree in Physics. After completing their studies at the University of Cologne, Roland Gersch further pursued their education at the University of Stuttgart from 2004 to 2007. At the University of Stuttgart, they obtained a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Physics.
