Kristi Falco has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Kristi started their career as an Ocean Rescue Lieutenant at COROLLA OCEAN RESCUE INC, where they responded to and managed emergency scenarios and provided medical support. Kristi then worked as an Ocean Rescue Lifeguard at Wrightsville Beach Ocean Rescue, where they prevented and responded to emergencies and also competed at the regional and national level.
After that, Kristi worked as a Dive Master at Phayam Divers, guiding divers and ensuring their safety. Kristi also served as a Deckhand at Isail Whitsundays and Whitsunday Getaways, hosting guests for liveaboard sailing experiences and managing various tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation, and guiding activities like snorkeling and hiking.
In 2019, Kristi worked as a Deckhand and cook at Sea Backpackers, where they lived on a catamaran and hosted surfers and spear fishermen for liveaboard experiences along the coast of Costa Rica and Panama.
In 2021, Kristi collaborated with friends to create Symbiosis Odyssea, where they worked as a Tour Operator in Costa Rica. Kristi coordinated travel, hosted guests for an all-inclusive homestay experience, taught surf lessons, organized activities, and prepared the property for guests.
Finally, Kristi joined Jolyn Clothing Company in 2015 as a Regional Sales Representative for the Southeast region and later became a Senior Sales Representative. In 2021, the company restructured and hired their as an employee for the year.

In addition to their academic background, they have obtained several certifications including Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) from NC OEMS in April 2014, Open Water Scuba Instructor from PADI in February 2014, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers from the American Red Cross in May 2009, Open Water Lifesaver from USLA in May 2009, and STCW-95 from the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) in January 2012.
