Mai Badawy

Mai Badawy has a diverse work experience in various roles related to business analysis and software quality. Mai began their career as a Junior SW Quality Engineer at ITWorx in 2003 and later progressed to become a Senior SW Quality Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for reviewing system requirements, designing and executing system test cases, and ensuring solution quality.

From 2009 to 2014, Mai worked as a SW Quality Team Leader at ITWorx. Mai'sresponsibilities included planning and assigning tasks to the quality team, reviewing testing documents, and managing the testing phase to ensure solution quality. Mai also supported Project Leaders in tracking project metrics.

Mai then transitioned to the role of Test Principal, where they took on the responsibility of overall project quality. Mai analyzed customer requirements, resolved conflicts, and managed change requests throughout their lifecycle.

In 2014, they became a Product Specialist at ITWorx, where they conducted competitive analysis and market research for an in-house product. Mai also defined product features, roadmap, and prioritization in coordination with Go To Market consultants and managers. From 2015 to 2016, Mai worked as a Senior Demand Lead at Vodafone International Services (VIS). Mai'srole involved managing opportunities, formulating project scopes, eliciting high-level requirements, and calculating project quotations. Mai also worked on business analysis activities throughout project execution.

Since 2017, Mai has been with ITWorx as a Lead Business Analyst. Mai'sresponsibilities included eliciting and analyzing business requirements, facilitating workshops and interviews with stakeholders, and determining integration points with existing or new systems. Mai has also maintained strong working relationships between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Moving forward, in 2023, Mai will be joining Jombone as a Senior Business Analyst.

Mai Badawy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Sciences from Ain Shams University, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. Prior to their university education, they attended B.B.C from 1986 to 1999, although the degree and field of study are unknown. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management in October 2017 and the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) in May 2018.
