Violet Povoroznyuk

Violet Povoroznyuk's work experience starts from 2004 as a Java Developer at Sockeye Solutions. Violet then had various term positions at Torstar Corporation from 2004 to 2006, where they worked as a J2EE Engineer, C# Engineer, and Database Programmer. Violet also redesigned parts of the Toronto Star Edition Design System (TEDS) in C#.

In 2006, Violet worked as a J2EE Engineer at Marsh Canada Limited for a short period. Violet then joined Google in 2007 as a Web Applications Engineer and worked there until 2010. After that, they worked at YouTube as a Media Operations Center Manager from 2010 to 2011.

From 2011 to 2013, Violet was a Java Enterprise Developer at The Jonah Group, where they worked on several web projects in the health informatics and health insurance industries. Violet also worked as a Community Centre Volunteer at The Art of Life Community Health Center from 2011, where they volunteered as a technical and web specialist, assisting with web development and maintenance, community program development, content writing and editing, social media support, and event organization.

Violet then worked as a Software Engineer in WLAN at Extreme Networks from 2015 to 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Software Developer at 3Pillar Global since 2017.

Violet Povoroznyuk's education history includes completing a Design Thinking Course at BrainStation in 2018. Prior to that, they attended the University of Waterloo from 2002 to 2007. Violet obtained an Engineer's Degree with a focus on Software Engineering (Co-op) during their time there.
