Galen Miller

Galen Miller has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Most recently, Galen worked as a Principal Scientist/Project Manager at Jonah Ventures starting in May 2022. Prior to that, Galen served as a Scientific Consultant (Regulatory and Development) at CBR International Corp. from July 2021 to May 2022. Galen also worked as a Scientific Consultant at Jonah Ventures from July 2020 to July 2021, where they were responsible for bioassay design, testing, and development, as well as assisting with the design and development of a home SARS-CoV-2 (COVID) test. Before joining Jonah Ventures, Galen was a Senior Scientist at Horizon Discovery from November 2018 to May 2020, where they provided leadership and scientific support for gene editing product development. Additionally, Galen has held positions as a Scientist, Project Manager at BioPlx Microbiomics, a Project Manager at UC Davis, a Project Supervisor at Oregon State University, and a Professional Research Assistant at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Galen also gained valuable experience in various roles at Hotel Boulderado from 1998 to 2006.

Galen Miller holds a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology, which was obtained from Oregon State University between 2007 and 2012. Prior to that, Galen earned a BA degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder, between 2000 and 2006. Additionally, Galen has obtained certifications such as "Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World" and "Succeeding in a New Role By Managing Up" from LinkedIn in 2019.
