Raffaella Faraoni

Raffaella Faraoni is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in intellectual property law and scientific research. Currently serving as an Associate at JONES DAY® since February 2013, Raffaella has held positions as an IP Legal Intern and IP Practice Specialist within the same firm. Prior to this, Raffaella worked as a Research Investigator at GNF from June 2011 to February 2013 and as a Research Scientist II at Ambit Biosciences from August 2006 to April 2011. Raffaella holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law (2014-2018), a Postdoctoral degree in Organic Chemistry from Scripps Research (2004-2006), a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from ETH Zürich (2000-2004), and a BS in Chemistry from Sapienza Università di Roma (1994-1999).
