Lauren Handlin is an experienced professional with a solid background in outreach, investment operations, and educational support. Currently serving as an Outreach Coordinator at Joni and Friends since October 2022, Lauren previously worked as an Investment Operations Associate at Capital Group from January 2020 to October 2022. Additional roles include Teacher Assistant at Biola University Crowell School of Business and Office Assistant at Talbot School Of Theology. Lauren's internship at Samaritan’s Purse involved developing digital training platforms and strategizing for ministry outreach. With a Bachelor of Business Administration from Biola University and diverse experience in childcare, tutoring, and administrative support roles, Lauren has demonstrated a commitment to education and organizational effectiveness.

Founded by Joni Eareckson Tada in 1979, Joni and Friends is dedicated to reaching out to families living with disability all around the globe with gospel-adorned hope. We extend gospel-centered care through Community Support, Respite, Retreats and Getaways, and Crisis Response. And we connect families with Christ-honoring, disability-friendly churches where they find a place belong.
