Hoang Tran

Hoang Tran has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Hoang began their career as a Software Engineer Intern at FPT Software in 2017. Hoang then worked as an English Tutor at Lasluz in early 2019 and later as an English Second Language Teacher for Talks English - SharkTank Vietnam Season 2 from May to December 2019. In 2018, they joined HELLA as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for designing, validating, and verifying firmware for automotive BCM. Hoang also ensured software deliverables met ASIL standards and adhered to ASPICE. In 2020, Hoang transitioned to Home Credit Vietnam as a Data Analyst and later became a Data Scientist. Currently, they are working at Joon Solutions as an Analytics Engineer, and recently, they were promoted to the role of Lead Analytics Engineer.

Hoang Tran completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from International University - VNU HCMC. Hoang attended the university from 2014 to 2018. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications over the years. Hoang became a Looker Certified LookML Developer in November 2021, achieved the dbt Fundamentals certification from dbt Labs in March 2022, and became a dbt Certified Developer in August 2022. Hoang also obtained the Google Analytics Certification from Skillshop in March 2023, and the Hands On Essentials - Data Warehouse certification from Snowflake, also in March 2023. Lastly, Hoang Tran obtained an IELTS Academic score of 8.0 from IELTS Official in August 2018.
