Roy Raines has extensive work experience in the construction industry. From 2004 to 2008, they worked as the Vice President of Operations at Jordan-BEK, where they supported estimating and design-build projects and led operations on construction projects across the United States. Roy was responsible for profit and loss and handled claims analysis and negotiations with clients.
From 2008 to 2012, Roy Raines served as the Director of Operations for the Federal Division of KBR, Inc. In this role, they managed design-build processes and projects, firm fixed-price bids and projects, and was accountable for the division's profit and loss. Roy also oversaw business development, estimating, controls, and construction for all projects.
Since 2013, Roy Raines has been working at Jordan Foster Construction. From 2013 to 2014, they were the Vice President of Operations for the Residential Division, where they oversaw the construction of multifamily residential projects throughout Texas and the South. The division was recognized as the largest multifamily general contractor in Texas by Engineering News-Record (ENR) and the 7th largest in the nation by Multifamily Executive magazine.
In 2014, Roy Raines was promoted to President of the Multifamily Group at Jordan Foster Construction. In this role, they serve as the top executive for the division and is responsible for its overall operations. Jordan Foster Construction is a top-ranked construction company in the United States and is considered one of the best general contractors in Texas.
Roy Raines earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Building Construction Technology from Butte College, which they attended from 1986 to 1989. Roy then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management at California State University, Chico, from 1988 to 1989. Additionally, Roy holds an OSHA 30-Hour Certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
