Hillary Emmer

Hillary Emmer is an experienced education and counseling professional currently serving as a School Counseling Practicum Mentor at Utah Valley University since January 2023. With a tenure at Jordan School District beginning in March 2008, Hillary has held various roles including District Counselor Specialist, School Counselor, and Choral Director. As President, Co-Founder, and Artistic Director of the Jordan Youth Choir since June 2013, Hillary has significantly contributed to the arts. Additionally, Hillary was a board member of the Utah School Counselor Association from July 2016 to June 2022, taking on multiple leadership roles. Previous experience includes serving as Assistant Conductor for Young Choral Artists at Salt Lake Choral Artists and as Director of Direct Care at Avalon Hills Residential Treatment Center. Hillary holds a Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of Utah, a degree in Music Education from Utah State University, and an Associate of Arts from Brigham Young University - Idaho.
