Regina Young

Principal, Atlanta at Jordan & Skala Engineers

Regina Young has nearly 25 years of experience in mechanical design and project management. Since joining Jordan & Skala Engineers in 2001 as a Mechanical Designer, she has assumed many roles including Plumbing Designer, Lead Engineer, Sustainability Consultant, Project Manager, Team Leader, and now Principal. Regina is a Registered Professional Engineer in several states with extensive experience managing a wide variety of projects, such as transforming the Plaza Hotel in El Paso, Texas, from a 1930s office building into a boutique hotel and fully renovating Marcel Breuer’s Fulton County Central Library in Atlanta, Georgia. Additionally, she led a multi-disciplined engineering team through the operations and maintenance documentation of the once Olympic Village, now the North Avenue Apartments, and received the first LEED for Existing Buildings (EBOM) certification for a Georgia Tech campus facility. While building this extensive project portfolio, Regina has also maintained long-lasting client relationships by understanding that the client’s expectations and needs come first. Her philosophy on any project is to develop and design “at their preferred pace,” meaning that each client receives a custom experience and the attentive consulting that they desire.
