Abby Hoobler

Abby Hoobler is a Physician Assistant who currently works at the Jordan-Young Institute. Prior to their current position, they worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant at Emergency Physicians of Tidewater from July 2018 to March 2021. Abby also has experience working as an Emergency Department Technician at Sentara Healthcare from August 2012 to December 2015, and as a Ski Instructor at Seven Springs Mountain Resort from December 2010 to March 2012. In addition, they spent time as a Physician Assistant Student at Eastern Virginia Medical School from January 2016 to May 2018. Abby's experience also includes working as a Sergeant at the Virginia Beach Lifesaving Service from June 2007 to July 2018.

Abby Hoobler has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Virginia and a Master's degree in Physician Assistant from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Abby is currently completing a Physician Assistant Fellowship in Emergency Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
