Ann-Marie Karlsson

Ann-Marie Karlsson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in agricultural statistics and policy analysis. Currently serving as the Head of the Statistics unit at Jordbruksverket since August 2006, Ann-Marie oversees the production of critical agricultural data in Sweden, including the Farm Structure Survey and various consumption statistics. Prior roles include Product Manager for the Swedish Farm Accountancy Data Network at Statistics Sweden, where responsibilities encompassed representation in the FADN committee and project leadership for EU tenders. Ann-Marie has also worked in various capacities focusing on reindeer herding policies and statistics, including a role as an Administrative Officer at Jordbruksverket. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Agriculture from SLU and a Master of Arts in Language and Linguistics from Lund University, highlighting a strong foundation in both technical and communicative skills.
