Danny Brown

Danny Brown has a diverse work experience spanning various finance roles and management positions. Danny began their career in 1997 at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, where they held various finance roles and eventually became the European Distribution Finance Manager. In 2006, they transitioned to the role of European Online Finance and Systems Project Leader. From 2007 to 2009, Danny served as the European Online Commercial Finance Manager at Sony.

Danny then moved on to work as the Finance Director and Non-Executive Director at Steptronic Footwear Limited from 2010 to 2013. Danny also worked at Julien Macdonald Limited, where they served as the Financial Controller and Business Advisor.

In 2010, Danny joined Wolsey Limited as the Finance and Managing Director. During their tenure, they were responsible for the smooth running of all aspects of the operational side of the business. Danny played a crucial role in repositioning the brand as a high-end offering by designing new products, implementing a new marketing focus, and acquiring a Scandinavian licensing partner.

Following their time at Wolsey Limited, Danny worked as a Consultant at Antler from 2017 to 2019. Danny also founded and served as a Consultant for commonKIN, providing accounting and business support to independent brands.

Most recently, Danny held the position of Director/Partner at Brands with Values from 2019 to 2021. Danny is currently working as the CFO at JOSEPH, starting in September 2019.

Danny Brown attended BPP Professional from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a degree in AAT (MAAT). After that, they furthered their education at BPP Professional from 2003 to 2007, earning a degree in CIMA (ACMA).
