Rohit Kulkarni

Rohit Kulkarni is a distinguished expert in islet cell biology and regenerative medicine with a career spanning several roles at Joslin Diabetes Center since 1999, currently serving as Co-Head of the Section on Islet Cell and Regenerative Biology. At Harvard Medical School, Rohit holds the title of Professor of Medicine, focusing on basic and translational research related to type 1 and type 2 diabetes and obesity. Contributions include creating innovative genetically engineered models and applying research findings to clinical conditions.
