Kristy Durkin

Kristy Durkin is an experienced professional currently serving as the Executive Assistant at Joslyn Art Museum since August 2014. Prior to this role, Kristy worked as an Author and Creator at Greco's Ghosts from June 2013 to June 2015 and held the position of Assistant to the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at Creighton University for one year. Kristy also gained valuable experience as a Programs & Exhibitions Intern at Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts in early 2013 and served in various roles at YMCA of Greater Kansas City from June 2006 to December 2012, including Business Director and Membership & Programs Director. Kristy holds a Master of Arts in Art History from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, completed in 2012, and a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Communication Studies and Spanish from Albion College, obtained in 2006.
