Philip Merrell is a retired professional with extensive experience in the chemical industry. As a Technical Market Manager at Jost Chemical Co. from 2007 until retirement, Philip Merrell was responsible for introducing the company to the Pharmaceutical Industry. Prior to that, Philip Merrell spent 28 years at Mallinckrodt as a Research Associate, where product development and customer problem-solving were key responsibilities. Earlier in the career, Philip Merrell served as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Bowdoin College from 1973 to 1978, teaching Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry. Philip Merrell holds a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from The Ohio State University and a BS in Chemistry/Mathematics from Harding University.
