Evy Lahou has a diverse professional background in food safety, education, and brand representation. Currently serving as a Frontline Agent and Brand Ambassador at Jotex since April 2021, Evy also founded Chokaka in February 2018. Prior experience includes a role as a childcare worker at Marks Kommun from September 2017 to February 2018 and a PhD Candidate and Teaching Assistant at the Laboratory for Food Microbiology and Food Preservation from September 2009 to October 2016, focusing on food sampling and microbial analysis. Earlier work experience includes a position as a Weekend Worker at Carrefour's Fish Market from April 2003 to September 2009. Educationally, Evy holds a Doctorate in Applied Biological Sciences specializing in Food Science and has completed both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Ghent and Hasselt Universities, respectively.
