Fred Ivar Tallaksen

Fred Ivar Tallaksen has extensive experience in the maritime electronics field, currently serving as Support Manager at Jotron since 2004, specializing in GMDSS, lights, AIS, and VDR storage support. Prior to this role, Fred held the position of Technical Support for Jotron's maritime products, offering phone and email assistance. Fred began their career at Jotron AS in 1992 as a System Designer, focusing on hardware and software development for maritime products, after working as a Development Engineer at Sipro AS where contributions included the development of Automatic Weather Stations, dive recorders, and data transceivers. Fred Ivar Tallaksen holds a degree in electronics from the University of South-Eastern Norway.
