Geir Halvorsen

Geir Halvorsen is a Senior R&D Engineer at Jotron, with a tenure beginning in July 1998, where responsibilities include the design of analogue and digital electronics for maritime, GtA, and Recorder products as well as project management for various design initiatives. Prior to this, Geir worked as an R&D Engineer at Unicom AS from September 1996 to July 1998, focusing on the design of intrinsically safe (EXi) radio equipment. Geir holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota Mines, completed between 1994 and 1996, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South-Eastern Norway, attained from 1990 to 1993. Additionally, studies were undertaken at the University of Oslo from 1989 to 1990.
