Darrell Rodgers began their work experience in 2007 at T.J Hughes, where they worked as a Kitchen Assistant before joining the British Army in 2009. In the army, they served as a Communications Specialist within the Royal Corps of Signals, gaining recognition as a confident team leader and trialing the military's data link radio system. In 2012, they were deployed to HMS Ocean for the London Olympics where they provided security support and trained on various security equipment. Rodgers then joined the UK Ministry of Defence in 2009, where they served in the Army until 2016. During this time, they engaged in diverse roles and eventually became an Army Project Engineer at Journeo PLC in 2017. In this role, they were responsible for meeting with clients, delivering projects, and supporting the Installations Manager in designing and implementing practical installations. Additionally, Rodgers worked as a CCTV Installation Engineer at CCTV Systems Manchester in 2016, specializing in evaluating security areas and installing various camera systems.

From 2009 to 2011, Darrell Rodgers attended the Royal School of Signals where they earned a Diploma in IT and Telecommunications.
