Joni Furlong

Joni Furlong is an experienced leader in the field of addiction medicine, currently serving as Executive Director at JourneyPure since August 2022. Prior to this role, Furlong was Facility Administrator at Spero Health and Center Manager at CleanSlate Centers, where responsibilities included developing operational plans and training personnel. Furlong has extensive experience in transitional living for women recovering from substance abuse as the Executive Director of Haven4Change from February 2006 to July 2019. Additionally, Furlong held the position of Project Director at the University of Kentucky Center on Drug & Alcohol Research, establishing field offices and recruiting research subjects, as well as Field Supervisor at the KY Administrative Office of the Courts, aiding in the development of Drug Courts. Furlong holds a Master of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Public Administration from Western Kentucky University.
